However, Trail Boss offers superb versatility in rifle cartridges producing reduced loads using lead or jacketed bullets. I currently load 28 grains of H-110, pushing a 250 grain Hornady FTX. Since the gas system on the AR requires a minimum amount to operate, the minimum charges/powders listed there will operate the action.
